What To Expect

We are looking for a talented, passionate Content Manager to join our growing Digital Content team based in Fremont. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with multiple stakeholders to write, optimize, publish and manage high-quality content across our global website, ensuring that visitors to our site have a seamless and positive user experience.

What You'll Do

• Proactively collaborate with multiple stakeholders to produce content and take ownership for quality and accuracy on tesla.com
• Write and edit content to ensure online content supports search engine optimization (SEO) goals, our brand standards, web style guidelines and legal and compliance requirements
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines in writing
• Track and manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
• Participate in the full web production lifecycle, including scoping out content requirements, production, testing and ongoing management
• Support localization of global web content
• Incorporate learnings from analytics data into the development of content
• Optimize metadata and on-page content based on priority
• Manage content daily in the content management system (CMS)

What You'll Bring

• 1-3 years experience in copywriting for user-facing content and search engine optimization (SEO)
• Understanding of content optimization and keyword research
• Experience in writing for a global audience
• Superior proofreading and copywriting skills
• Eye for detail, even under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and go above and beyond to meet deadlines
• Experience in using a content management system (CMS)

Expected Compensation

$64,000 - $156,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
