Shallow Water Lifeguard (Ages 15+) - Summer Seasonal Job

About the Job

Spend your summer working poolside at Enchanted Parks! As a Shallow Water Lifeguard , you'll help keep guests safe and ensure water attractions operate smoothly in areas with water depths of five feet or less. This role is ideal for teens and young adults who enjoy being active, working outdoors, and taking on responsibility in a fun environment.

No prior lifeguard experience is required- we provide paid training and certification .

What You'll Do

• Actively monitor guests in shallow‑water attractions
• Enforce water safety rules and clearly communicate them to guests
• Quickly recognize and respond to emergency situations using trained lifeguard skills
• Maintain "test‑ready" lifeguard skills after certification
• Follow all Aquatics safety procedures and standards
• Attend required monthly in‑service training sessions
• Help keep aquatic areas clean, organized, and safe
• Support other areas of the Aquatics department when needed
• Maintain reliable and on‑time attendance
• Perform additional duties assigned by management

What We're Looking For

• Minimum age: 15
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with guests
• Ability to stay calm and focused in emergency situations
• Willingness to complete and pass all lifeguard, CPR, and first‑aid training through Ellis & Associates
• Ability to exit pools or attractions without assistance
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Professional, positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and stay alert throughout shifts

Other Duties

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support Aquatics operations and overall park safety.
