Job Description

Salary: $110,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• Demonstrated professional experience in application development (non-entry level)
• Practical development experience in Python and/or Java
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating in a team environment

• Develop and sustain Python-based solutions for reinsurance data processing, automation, and reporting
• Create and support integration across various systems and data platforms to enhance reinsurance data quality and accessibility
• Collaborate with business representatives to comprehend requirements and convert them into system requirements and technical specifications
• Produce clear, reliable, and maintainable code while adhering to software fundamentals and best practices
• Test code modifications (unit/system), assess results with business partners, and ensure that changes do not adversely affect other functionalities
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external partners
• Address production issues promptly and participate in the teams on-call rotation for 24-hour system support (approx. every 4th week, Monday-Sunday), predominantly managing support through established processes and potentially requiring after-hours engagement
