Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Location : Chick-fil-A Pflugerville FSR

Reports to : Restaurant Marketing Director 

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, high-energy, and organized Marketing Assistant to help share Chick-fil-A Pflugerville’s brand with our community. As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the Restaurant Marketing Director in executing local marketing plans, managing social media, and creating \REMARK-able\ experiences for our guests both inside and outside the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Assist in capturing content and scheduling pre-approved posts using the Social Media Publisher to engage with our local community.
• Event Coordination: Help plan and execute in-restaurant events, Spirit Nights, ADPs, and community activations
• Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Chick-fil-A at community events, which may include coordinating Cow Costume appearances and food distributions.
• Guest Engagement: Execute \Surprise and Delight\ moments for guests using Be Our Guest cards and other promotional tools.
• In-Restaurant Marketing: Maintain the restaurant’s visual appeal by updating POP (Point of Purchase) signage, community boards, and decorations.
• Administrative Support: Assist with the tracking of marketing expenses, donation requests, and the marketing calendar via the Spotlight Tool.
• Sampling: Lead food sampling efforts in the restaurant to introduce guests to new or seasonal menu items.
• Operations: This position will require 50% of your time in operations (restaurant work)

Qualifications & Skills

• Brand Alignment: A deep understanding of Chick-fil-A Pflugerville’s values (Relationships, Integrity, Service, and Excellence)
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity: An eye for design and photography for social media content.
• Organization: Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects or events simultaneously.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays for events.
• Teamwork: A positive attitude and the ability to work closely with the leadership team and front-line staff.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous marketing experience in a fast-paced restaurant or customer service environment is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to execute
• A genuine passion for serving guests and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to punctuality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 25-40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
