Title: Manual / Automation QA Tester Healthcare Domain

Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced QA Tester with a strong background in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of healthcare workflows and compliance standards, along with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
The candidate will be responsible for validating the quality and functionality of healthcare applications, ensuring data integrity, and supporting regulatory compliance requirements. Exposure to HIPAA 27x EDI transactions, GBAS systems, and testing of Windows-based and data service applications is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business and functional requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
Execute manual and automation test cases for web, desktop (Windows-based), and data service applications.
Perform system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
Log, track, and validate defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
Validate HIPAA 27x transactions (270/271, 276/277, 837, 835) where applicable.
Perform data validation and ensure consistency across backend systems and data services.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to resolve defects.
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA.
Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
4 6 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing.
Strong experience in the healthcare domain (claims, eligibility, enrollment).
Good understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred / Added Advantage:
Experience with HIPAA 27x EDI transactions.
Exposure to GBAS (Group Benefits Administration System) or similar platforms.
Experience testing Windows desktop applications.
Knowledge of backend/API and batch job testing.
Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
