Job Description

Law Firm Administrator

Dike Law // Small Business Law Firm
Frisco, Texas
Full-time, In-Office | $55,000–$65,000/year depending on experience

About Us

We are a growing small business law firm in Frisco, Texas, representing entrepreneurs and businesses in regulatory compliance, business formation, and litigation. We are building a professional, high-accountability, faith-grounded firm with strong systems, strong people, and a healthy long-term culture.

We value professionalism, reliability, operational excellence, and people who genuinely care about helping a team function well together.

About the Role

We are hiring a full-time Law Firm Administrator to help run the day-to-day operations of the firm.

You will work directly with the Founder and alongside a fractional operations consultant who is helping build and refine the firm’s operational systems, workflows, and accountability structure. Over time, this role will become a key operational support position responsible for helping maintain, reinforce, and continuously improve those systems as the firm grows.

We are looking for someone who is smart, highly reliable, organized, quick on their feet, emotionally mature, and capable of turning systems and expectations into consistent daily execution.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operations, structure, accountability, and helping a professional office run efficiently every day. You should be calm under pressure, upbeat, kind, low drama, solutions-oriented, and the type of person others naturally rely on.

This is an in-person operational leadership support role focused on accountability, workflow coordination, systems management, and follow-through — not sales. Daily physical presence in the office is a core part of the role. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

We strongly value candidates who bring operational ideas, systems experience, and practical insight from prior law firms or professional environments — and who are capable of not only identifying improvements, but helping implement them successfully.

What You’ll Own

  • Daily operational rhythm and office coordination Opening the office consistently at 8:30 AM and helping establish a professional tone for the day Reinforcing accountability and operational follow-through across attorneys and staff Helping implement, maintain, and improve SOPs, workflows, and operational systems Day-to-day MyCase administration and practice management coordination Matter setup, workflow management, reporting, task management, organization, and system maintenance inside MyCase Vendor management and office administration HR administration including onboarding, offboarding, and personnel coordination Coordination with the firm’s biller to support billing workflows, timekeeping discipline, and operational follow-through Intake coordination to ensure smooth movement from consultation through engagement Office logistics including supplies, facilities, mail, and vendor communication Supporting a stable, professional, upbeat, team-oriented office culture Periodic operational audits, mystery shopping, and competitive research projects

What Success Looks Like

  • The office runs smoothly, professionally, and consistently Team members follow operational systems and deadlines Matters move through the firm with accountability and organization Leadership can rely on operational follow-through without constant oversight Clients experience professionalism, responsiveness, and consistency throughout the firm Systems remain organized, maintained, and continuously improving as the firm grows

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a mature, operationally capable professional who understands how professional environments function behind the scenes and takes pride in helping things run well.

The right person is:
Highly dependable and consistent Organized and detail-oriented Quick-thinking and resourceful Calm under pressure Emotionally mature, upbeat, kind, and low drama Comfortable with accountability and follow-through Solutions-oriented and operationally minded Professional in communication and conduct Able to work collaboratively with leadership and staff Comfortable bringing ideas and improving systems while executing within firm priorities

We value candidates who can bring practical operational insight from prior firms or professional environments, including workflows, systems, accountability structures, and process improvements that can help us continue optimizing and strengthening how the firm operates.

This role can be a strong fit for:
Someone with prior law firm operational experience A former billing or intake coordinator with operational strengths A practice management or MyCase administrator A highly organized early-career MBA graduate with strong operational instincts and professional maturity Someone looking for a long-term operational leadership support role inside a growing firm

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience inside a law firm or professional services environment with meaningful operational responsibility
  • Strong working knowledge of MyCase is required. This role is heavily operational and administrative inside MyCase, so we are looking for someone who already knows the platform very well and can confidently manage workflows, matter setup, reporting, task management, organization, and day-to-day system coordination
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage operational follow-through across multiple moving parts
  • Professional communication skills and discretion with confidential information
  • Full-time, in-person availability in Frisco with consistent punctuality and reliability Ability to work collaboratively with leadership, consultants, attorneys, staff, and vendors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a small law firm or professional services firm
  • Familiarity with legal billing workflows and operational systems
  • Familiarity with reporting tools, intake systems, or AI/automation tools
  • DFW-based or willing to commute to Frisco Limited relocation assistance may be available, at the firm’s discretion, for exceptional out-of-state candidates relocating to the Dallas–Fort Worth area

Compensation & Benefits

  • $55,000–$65,000 salary depending on experience and operational capability Paid time off and firm holidays Long-term growth opportunity within the firm Professional, stable, team-oriented work environment

How to Apply

If this role sounds like a fit, please send:

  • Your resume A short note about your background and why this role interests you One specific example of a system, workflow, or process you helped improve — what was broken, what you changed, and the result
