Job Description

Janitor

The position is responsible for performing janitorial duties for all buildings and related areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms.

  • Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.

  • Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.

  • Empty all trashcans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.

  • Other routine maintenance duties as assigned

Warehouse Efficiencies

  • Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communications at all levels.

  • Keeps warehouse organized and clean at all times.

Team Building/Leadership

  • Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the company's culture.

  • Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates.

Education and/or Experience

  • Must be high school graduate or equivalent.

Essential Skills:

  • Must be capable of maintaining the stamina needed for physical labor.

  • Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

  • Pays close attention to detail.

  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills and has friendly demeanor.

  • Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently and demonstrates excellent time management skills

  • Hands-on, has ambition and drive to succeed - Makes things happen.

  • Goal oriented and must be accustomed to achieving results through teamwork
