About the Role
GLOBAL OPS is seeking a highly experienced Executive Security Driver to support a principal in Manhattan.
This role is focused on safe, efficient, and discreet transportation in a fast-paced New York City environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong command presence, sound judgment, and the ability to operate confidently and professionally in high-visibility situations.
This is not an entry-level driving role. Candidates must be comfortable navigating complex urban environments while maintaining composure, awareness, and control at all times.
Minimum Requirements (Must Meet All)
Active New York State Armed Security Guard License
Valid unrestricted handgun license (not HR218 or any other shield)
Extensive experience operating in New York City in a professional driving or public safety capacity
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Ability to legally carry and work armed in New York State
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, efficient, and discreet transportation throughout Manhattan and the surrounding areas
Navigate high-traffic and high-pressure environments with confidence and control
Maintain strong situational awareness and sound decision-making at all times
Represent a professional, composed, and authoritative presence when interacting in public settings
Ensure vehicle readiness, cleanliness, and operational reliability
Follow all GLOBAL OPS protocols and maintain strict confidentiality
Preferred Background
Prior experience in law enforcement, public safety, or similar roles requiring independent decision-making in NYC
Experience operating in high-responsibility, public-facing environments
Strong familiarity with Manhattan streets, traffic patterns, and urban navigation
Background requiring professionalism, discretion, and accountability under pressure
Schedule & Expectations
This is a full-time role with a structured weekday schedule; flexibility is required based on the principal’s needs
