We are seeking a responsible and nurturing babysitter for our 6-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son in Oakland, CA. The job starts on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 10:00 PM and ends on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 4:00 AM. Responsibilities include supervising homework completion, preparing and serving dinner around 6 PM, overseeing light kitchen clean-up after cooking, and ensuring bedtime routines are followed. Your day will start by meeting Dad at home when he brings the kids home from school. Our daughter will have mild homework and a reading log to complete, while our son must finish his homework before any video game activity. The position requires driving as needed, but no bathing duties are involved. You'll share the home with a shy 2-year-old female tabby cat. Parking is available in unmarked and uncovered spaces upon arrival. We look forward to welcoming someone who can keep our children safe, happy, and on track with their evening routines.
