This is a remote position.

A Remote Data Entry Typist is responsible for accurately typing and entering information into digital systems from various source documents. This role requires speed, precision, and attention to detail, along with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Type and enter data into databases, spreadsheets, or company systems
  
• Transcribe information from physical or digital documents into electronic formats
  
• Review and verify entered data for accuracy and completeness
  
• Correct errors and update existing records as needed
  
• Maintain organized digital files and documentation
  
• Perform routine quality checks on data entries
  
• Meet daily or weekly productivity and accuracy targets
  
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Proven typing speed and accuracy (typically 50–70+ WPM)
  
• Basic experience in data entry or clerical work (preferred)
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, or Google Workspace
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  
• Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace
