$200,000–$350,000 DOE

 

Position Overview

The Chief People Officer (CPO) is responsible for setting and driving the overall People strategy, ensuring the organization has the right talent, structure, and leadership to achieve business goals. This is a high-impact executive role focused on outcomes, alignment, and scalability. The ideal candidate brings strong HR leadership in operational environments, proven org design and leadership development experience, and deep expertise in employee relations and compliance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in senior HR / People leadership roles
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or operational environments
  • Strong background in organizational design and change management
  • Deep knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and risk management
  • Proven ability to drive results through leadership teams
  • Strong business acumen with ability to align workforce strategy to company goals
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to track and improve performance metrics

    Responsibilities

  • Executive Leadership & Strategy
    • Define and lead the overall People strategy aligned with business growth
    • Partner with executive team on workforce planning, risks, and leadership gaps
    • Establish clear ownership and accountability across HR
    • Build scalable org structures with clear roles and accountability
    • Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines
    • Build a high-performing recruiting engine with strong hiring standards
    • Drive accountability and address underperformance quickly
    • Own compensation and benefits strategy
    • Oversee HR policies, compliance, and risk management
